5th AugToday is the first day we reached Macau.
This is my first time here and i am quite excited to see all the casinos.
We took Budget airlines and we had to walk to the plane on our own. The seats were quite small but it was a good experience for all. We saw a big rainbow when travelling to macau. WOW!
The hostel rooms were quite big and spacious. Nice environment.
Then we went to Island's weekly fair.
We had dinner at a Chinese Restaurant.
Then we walked around the place and saw a few casinos.They tried to attract tourists by showing nice performances.
It was wonderful!

6th AugWe had our first lesson today. It was on the introduction to casino Math and the 2 different games: Baccarat and SicBo. We were separated into our groups and start our mini casino. It was very fun, exspecially when there is a group of people playing at the booth. I shouted till my throat was very pain! ARGH! Our group were quite successful in our wins( because i was the player.. hahas). What matters most is the fun and enjoyment that we had during the game. One of the teacher took other booths' money and gamble them off! And everyone blame the teacher! LOL.
We went for dinner and shopping!
But i only bought 1 thing today...
7th AugAs usual, we had breakfast followed by the usual lessons(House advantage, Expected value, Variance, Standard Deviation, Probability).
The lessons today were more of calculations and formulae. It was more interesting.
After that, we had the mini casino again. We changed some of the tactics and realised that we earned more money.
After dinner, we went to the fountain (Wynn Casino) and watch the spectacular performance there. I was very fascinated and thought that this would attract players to the casino.
Macau is really full of casinos.
8th AugLessons are still as usual and it is more interesting. Conditional Probability, Bayes'Law.
I learnt many things today!
SPIN PEN! SHUFFLE CARDS WITH ONE HAND! WOW!
We did our group project and we finished what we need to do for today beautifully with one teacher's help.
At least, we can finally set our mind on play and fun! HAHA!
We went Macau Fisherman's Wharf and saw very beautiful things. But i didn't buy any gifts though.
At dinner, because of my very bad sore throat, i drank lemon water and ate a few pieces of lemon (5) and they were so sour. YUCKS!
And our group earned the most money, thanks to our great gambler(whale)!
9th AugNATIONAL DAY! SINGAPORE 42TH BIRTHDAY! WOW! Time really flies.
Today louisa, yongxin, fenglan and i were late for breakfast because of some miscommunication.
Well, we ate only 2 egg tarts because of the delay.
Today we learnt about Blackjack and continued doing our project. It was quite smooth-sailing.
Mr Seah did a presentation on casino gaming and showed us a clip on how professional players play in casino. It was an eye-opener for me. I also learnt many things from him, such as pen-spinning, shuffling of cards and how to deal cards properly. This trip is quite worthwhile afterall.
We went to a Portuguese restaurant to have our dinner.
We also went to buy pastas and some biscuits. And i finally bought some biscuits and cuttlefish! HAHA!!!
We watched NDP online! WOW! The performances were nice and fantastic! But i was quite disappointed as it ended quite early.
10th AugToday is our final day of studying! We learnt about the psychology and social impacts of gambling. In the afternoon, it was our presentation time! It was okay except for some flaws here and there. However, we did not manage to win the top prize, well, at least we did our best. We also got our certificate for casino gaming. We GRADUATED! After 5 days of hard work, we finally get something out of it!
Then we ate dinner at Macau Tower. It was 233 metres high and i suppose it was the tallest building in Macau.
It was fascinating and spectacular! We took the lift up to the 58th floor! And the lift only takes arounds 46 seconds. We could feel the pressure in our ears as the lift went up! The feeling is similar to taking a plane, except that we are standing. lol. Wonderful feeling! We ate out dinner at 360 degrees cafe and it was at lvl 60. It will turn 1 revolution every 1 hour. Very NICE! After dinner, we watched the movie 'Surf Up' in Cantonese. I did not understand a sentence of what they were talking about but it was an experience afterall.
Mr Seah also showed us some magic. Spoon bending! WAH! I was shocked by it and really wished that i could do all these stuff!
Magic sure does have its own magic. It fascinates people everyday, even if its the same kind of magic.
11th AugIt was shopping day for everyone!
We slept late and wake up late today! (8.30am)
We went to Senado's Square(i think) and bought some chips, cards, die.
I wanted so much to buy a mahjong set but it seems strange and weird carrying a mahjong set around the shopping centre.
Then we went to shop. I bought 2 shirts at MOP$80. I also bought socks(different colours). They were quite cheap. We ate MacDonalds for lunch! ARGH! PATHETIC! We were rushing for time and that is the reason why we ate MAC.
Eating the same food in different environments. Hmm...
Rain started pouring down. And it was raining cats and dogs soon after.
We separated into groups of 4 and took a cab to New YaoHan. By the time we reached there and settled everything, it was already 4.30pm.
We were given till 6pm to shop and have a light snack.
Louisa, Yongxin and i went to levels 1 and 2 only, without knowing that there were NIKE and ADIDAS shops on the thrid floor.(due to someone's words saying that level 3 only have food)
Only 3 of us did not go to level 3 and we raised our hands up when the teacher asked if anyone haven't finished their shopping! FUNNY!
We ate a very fast dinner at level 4 foodcourt. Hainan Chicken Rice! LOL.
Then we quickly rushed to the NIKE , ADIDAS, PUMA... shops.
I bought a adidas jacket(S$70) and converse shoe(S$52). It was considered cheap!I hesitated for a moment but set my mind to buy it because i wanted to spend all my money. HAHA!
Then we waited for the bus and headed back to hostel to pack our stuff.
We reached airport at around 10pm.
Then there was some delay and we departed for Singapore at around 12.50am.
12th AugI did not really sleep very well in the plane. Perhaps due to leg pain...
I touched down on Singapore at 4.20am.
Finally, it was home sweet home.
