Went for interview today and i got the job!!!
i don't know whether to say today's a good day or a bad day...
i leave my home at 8.40am today and walked to je interchange.
took the mrt to boonlay interchange. i reached boonlay at around 9.03am. then waited for the bus. waited till 9.14am and board the bus. reach the place at around 9.37am. the bus trip was considered quite fast, because the info given by the company was that the bus ride took 29mins.
i walked around like a fool, looking up and down, left and right for the company. but, the company was not in sight. was scared at that time... imagine yourself in a foreign place with huge vehicles driving past and you standing there alone... wah. scary.
then i called mummy... called the company. i think i walked for like 33 mins before i finally found the company. thanks to the help from the company or else i will be stranded there like nobody's business. as expected, i was late for the interview but have already told the person-in-charge of the interview...
wah. really scary. really. the only person walking around and the rest are huge vehicles, cars... was glad that i finally found the place.
fortunately, i got the job and it pays quite well (to me). far from what i expected. but looking at the people in the company, i sort of see that they are quite busy. hope that i can cope with it, coming monday. transport is also provided, but still quite inconvenient for me... no matter what, i was quite happy to get the job... although it is not what i really really want. haha, must be satisfied.
one more thing is that it seems that i am the only one who went for the interview... so it is like the company already accepted me in the first place and just want to see my face(???haha) ... the interviewer didn't really ask me questions like ' tell me about yourself ' during the interview. it was more like a session for me to know more about how to get to the pick-up point for the transport... ...
actually tomorrow can start work already but i want to enjoy somemore before working. haha.
so, monday i am starting work and tomorrow i am going to sign the contract. 3months. extendable.
haiz, i feel so bad to turn down an interview... the person was like very enthusiastic and i suddenly told him that i can't make it for the interview... very very bad... :(
hopefully, they will not bear a grudge or something...
anyway, tomorrow going out with pearl and yanqiu... celebrate yq's birthday although it is very belated... kbox!!!
