8th day at work on friday...
i finally seen the real office happenings... complaining to the boss as if you are that great and in turn, caused someone to lose her job. Let's call this person A. A complained to the boss saying B 'always' talked on the phone and that she is a slow worker, when A didn't really (or not at all) teach B anything and A herself talked on the phone for more than 10 mins... and it is not office stuff... personal one. did B really 'always' talked on the phone? she only answered 2 phone calls, on the first day only.
AND A took abut 2 days' (or maybe 1) leave during these 8 days. what's more is that 2 days are half days... she did not even have much chance to judge B. and just after these 7 days at work, she complained to the boss on the 8th day. WHAT IS THIS? so what if she is a senior staff? worse is that the boss is influenced by A's 'comments' and 'advice'... the boss also didn't had a chance to see B's performance. the boss was on leave for 6 days...
argh... unfair. B is the person who came to work on the first day with me... i had lunch and chatted with her. so she is the only person who i can get along with for now... and now... aww.
this is one thing which makes me dislike A more... there are more to come.
luckily, i am going to work under another person who i think is also quite strange...haha. hopefully i can work with her.
after work, i chatted with B and hope that she will not think too much about it.
then, i went home and prepared to go my class' chalet. i reached the chalet at around 9.15pm... we (eh, they) watched the channel 8 9pm show. and they talked a lot about this show. i didn't watched at all because ... ... of some reasons of course. i was there stoning and watching the show too. hmm. better keep my comments to myself.
we played cards, played bridge at first...then decided to play 21 points. we played money, i played small all the way. haha. scared mah. we took turns to be the banker. and when i was the banker, i won almost all the games or even all the games ( like 3 or 4 games ). and i get 5 cards for 2 games and i won about $5 plus in all after the game. they didn't want to play 21 points after i won... haha. then we played big 2. i was quite noob and lost the first 2 games. i won the 3rd one but was little to recoup my losses for the 4th game. lost $2 for the 4th one... aww... in the end, i won only $2.50. but at least, it can cover my transport fee...
ADULT FARE!!! ARGH! from JE to Boon Lay 92 cents, from JE to Lakeside 70 cents... just 1 station leh... sian. super super sian. then from JE to Pasir ris 1.84 cents... i can take 4 trips in the past!!! when i went to top up, the person said 'waiting for results ah?' meaning the person also felt sad la.
2nd day in the chalet...
we rent a DVD for $4 'Premonition'... in the end, all of us were too tired to finish watching the DVD... but it was quite a nice movie.
so we slept and woke up at around 7.45am... some of us went for breakfast and waited till noon for the others to arrive. then we rented bikes and cycled around to changi... it was a 30 mins journey and i was like always the last... sad. no stamina. there were quite a few up slopes... haiz. must exercise more. went to explore some places... had our lunch too. then we went back at 4pm to prepare for the BBQ... played bridge while waiting for the fire to start.
was quite sad because some people suddenly cannot make it at the last minute. the budget overshot. haiz... no teachers could make it. there were too much food too. drank some red wine and others which i am not sure what is that. mixing 7-up and the wine was nice...
3rd day...
didn't did much because i am going home today, the chalet was till tomorrow but i had to work tomorrow... heard that they are going escape today!!! long time didn't go there already.
in all, the chalet was okay except that only about 16 went to the chalet... this is the last time when everyone can get together before the boys go to army. and this is the result... haiz.
hope tomorrow will be a better day at work... no more holidays till CNY. it is good though but hopefully my eyes will not be tired during work...
