PRB went outing today!!!
We went west coast, played pool and watched movie today!!!
Almost all of us brought food to west coast...
there were potato stew, cookies, muffins, sandwiches, jelly, hotdogs and japanese seaweed chickens...
we took some photos and played at the playground there...
but 4 of us played mahjong for a while...regretted it now.. should have played rather than sit down to play mahjong... aww...
then we exchanged gifts... yl got my present and i got jl's one...
haha.. i hope yl like my present.. lol... because i thought that you will be busy with assignments then maybe u will be lying on the bed to do them, so i thought a cushion(or pillow) would be great... haha.. see i so thoughtful... :)
we can't finish some of the food and it was quite wasteful... hmm.. next time we must not waste food!
there was the turn-around thing... and i felt very giddy after that... but it was fun..
we took photos on it too...
we stayed in west coast for close to 3 hours.. then we set off to jurong east for pool...
we played for about 1 and a half hour before going for dinner...
and we(hy, jl, yq and me) played like only 2 rounds.. lol.
yq and sm can't stay for the movie, so the 6 of us went for dinner at kopitiam...
we bought the tickets for 'I am Legend'...
the movie started at 6.45pm...
it was a nice movie.. about a virus in new york that turned people into monsters that cannot face the sunlight. this person(main actor-Will Smith) is the only survivor(or that he chose to stay in the city to find the cure for this virus) and he wishes to find a cure... so he stayed in the city... with his dog(samantha)... it was a movie in 2 different settings... one 3years before and one 3years after... 3 years before is the time when the virus broke out... everyone left the city... but somehow, his wife and daughter died during a crash in the helicopter...
then, 3 years after, he spent 3 years finding a cure for the virus... testing the medicine on rats and then captured one of the infected person to try out the effective medicine... and it worked in the end.. but it was too late, so he decided to die with the rest of the infected people while he asked one person to bring the medicine to the non-infected people...
so this is the story.. at first i couldn't understand.. thanks to huiying who enlightened me.. haha.. :)
hope to go cycling with them next time...
haha...
had a fun outing ... laughed a lot... eat a lot..
