disappointed.
my efforts for organising the class outing had gone down the drain...
in the end, at the very last minute( around 3 hours before the class outing), it was cancelled.
only around 7 people can go, from what i know...
i really tried to plan and organise an outing to celebrate brithdays...
perhaps the timing is wrong. there is a math test on this friday and chem test next monday and phy test next tuesday...
i should not even blame anyone... its my fault... i have chosen a wrong date. even i am not going, so what position am i to ask them to go?
i had done a bad job this time...
i spent like close to 250 messages( i think, or even more) sending to everyone about the details and changes, and asking people if they would mind this and that... and i think i have overshot this month's limit. i sent to everyone because i want a reply fast, i do not want the leaders to wait for their group members to give them a reply before they send me... that would take years. even though i sent everyone, it still take years. I know they need time to think if they are free, but at least give me a reply? so that i will know who is still considering?
maybe u should try organising one outing so that you will know the pains behind it. AND the worst thing is people keep asking who are going when they themselves don't give me a reply and expect me to read everyone's mind. AND some still ask why keep changing and changing?
DO you know that everytime one person don't like something, i have to take into account his/her opinions and try to change so that most of them would be happy? and i still have to suffer from your frustrations. ALL of you just have to reply and just wait for details, while the person organising and planning have to take into account everyone's needs and thoughts.
PLEASE, THINK FOR OTHERS!
when an outing is cancelled, think of who will be the most sad? all the time spent, efforts and hard work to organise the outing will be down the drain. this time cannot be turned back. Replying to those who keep asking and asking really takes a lot of time. You have to think what is the best way to reply that person so that the person won't feel sad or whatever. Especially when you are doing work and the message tone keeps disturbing you... and you have to reply that person or else the person will think you are angry or the person will be fed-up.
Don't say i am thinking too much. It's the fact because i experienced it before.
Plus, i believe that after the class outing is cancelled, there are some who felt frustrated because of the cancellation. Some wanted to have the outing but only a pathetic number can make it. WHAT CAN I DO? force them to go?
And i still have to pretend that i am fine and things still go on as usual...
really... it's a lot of hard work trying to make an outing successful.
Do spend a few minutes of your time thinking for others everyday, reflecting upon yourself.AND i am not saying that i am correct, i just want to express my thoughts here because i know that when i tell some of them in school, they would just think that i am thinking too much or being unreasonable or whatever...
SOMETIMES, YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF BEFORE MAKING COMMENTS. LISTEN TO OTHERS AND THINK PROPERLY IF WHAT THEY ARE SAYING MAKES SENSE.
DON'T JUST NOD YOUR HEAD AND SAY "OK, OK", JUST TO ENTERTAIN THAT PERSON.
PERHAPS, PEOPLE ONLY LIKE HYPO_ _ _ _ _ _.here, i wish to say that i really appreciate those who reply me fast.
and i appreciate those people who planned and organised stuff.
