yesterday(9/1 fri), my boss suddenly shouted at my colleague(A) for showing her attitude...yesterday is the closing for the year 2008... so everyone was very busy and rushing to clear the accounts. other colleagues had already done their part and waiting for A to do her work before they can continue... so B and C asked A when she can finish her work, and B and C got scolded as a result... A shouted very loudly, ' don't disturb me! go away!!! ' . then the boss also come to talk with A about some stuff, then A shouted again ' don't disturb me! go away!!! ' , the boss was furious, she shouted ' you don't use this tone to talk with me!!! it's your own problem that you cannot finish in time! I am your boss! ' (something like that)... A kept quiet...
there was a new year party after that... only 5 people from the accounts department went, including me... :) (was quite shocked that my mum allowed me to go as it was held in a club or pub) then we gossiped about A... didn't know a lot about her till they said... wow. really can't judge a person by its appearance... because there were a few times when A talked to me saying, "what do you want to study after getting your results?" , " you can come back to help us during your holidays because you are doing quite well" . i again, thought that she was a nice person... but, in the end... its always the same result...
well...
anyway, let's talk about the party!!!
we had transport there (esplanade) and reached there at about 6.45pm... the journey there is about 1hour plus... takes about 30 min just to reach clementi from tuas... wah. i didn't know that.
we took some pictures there... and had a wrist band for identification... the company booked the whole place i think. nice. :) it was free entrance for us. haha. everything is FREE!!! :) YEAH!!!
we had some snacks at first and had tiger beer... must eat some snacks... then had dinner... there were spaghetti , chicken wings, satay, bread, potato... wah.thinking about it, i should have gone for second round... nvm. had some red wine, screwdriver, beer... screwdriver was not bad... orange juice mixed with something. red wine is healthy, must drink some everyday ( but i no $$$ , so drink there lor... haha ). beer is bad for health, but it is FREE... super nice la... if there is more of such parties (especially since it is FREE)...
anyway, this is only once in a bluemoon...( although i had some during the chalet last week )... eh. must take care of our health...
from this party, i get to know more about my colleagues... some were nice people, some strange... haha. no offence. but really strange.
whatever it is, i learnt a lot from just working for 3 weeks in the company... there will be more to learn.
