yea... friday going shopping finally!!! after 2 weeks of rotting at home...
2 weeks!!! argh. i need some sunshine... some light...

and there is a maths test on the first lecture of next year! woah! 1 1/2 hours.. scary...

One news! Not sure its good or bad..
there is no more econs retest...
its good and bad..
i have prepared the test for 4 days... and the result is this.. but at least i tried to study despite the holiday mood.. hahas.. feel really glad and happy that i had done it.. despite all the many nice television programmes and the computer... hehe.
and i have finished my econs hw... but heard there is other hw .. forgotten le.. opps.

but i didn't really study a lot too.. not sure what to study.. where to start.. so i just anyhow do some questions.. hope it will help me understand a little bit more about econs..

its going to be the end of nov..time really flies.. around 1 more month to school re-open.. next year is the crucial year.. well... tough times ahead..

Just came back from taiwan and hongkong yesterday night!!!
Had a very fun time!!! Best holiday so far.. =)
We had 7days in taiwan and 3days in hongkong!
It was a guided tour in taiwan and a free and easy one in hongkong.
The tour guide was very fun! he told us lots of politics things in taiwan. he sang songs for us too. he said that all the taxis in taiwan are yellow in colour and named them 'xiao huang' (little yellow).. it was very funny.. so my sis and i started naming the taxis in hongkong 'xiao hong', 'xiao qing' and the taxis in singapore 'xiao lan'... LOL!!!
He (i would say) , the best tour guide i ever met.. ( lol.. i only went for 2 guided tours!) He is very good compared to the one in hongkong.. argh. although the tour in HK was free and easy, there was a tour guide and the driver who brought us to the hotel and back to the airport..and the tour guide was lousy. She said things that we already know, or we will know in a while.. things such as what number to call from room to room in the hotel( there is a brochure in the hotel which tells u everything!! =.=) . she is not fun at all. AND the worst thing is i thought she will bring us to the airport on the last day in HK and then she will leave after that and we will have to check in ourselves in the airport(this is quite bad already). BUT she didn't even accompany us to the airport!!! what tour guide is this? really wasted the service money on her..
Argh! the tour guide in taiwan is still the best.. he brought us to the airport and checked in for us... then he see that we had checked in and went inside then he left.. good.

Well... everyday is a different hotel. As taiwan is a big place, we have to change hotels everyday in order to go from places to places. In the first place, i thought it was very tiring(before i went for the trip) and i do not think the trip will be fun.. but, instead, changing hotels everyday is a new experience and a good one too. we get to stay in 6 or 7 different hotels in taiwan... some were good and some were not quite good.. in one of the hotels, there are 5 beds!! LOL! SHIOK! 5 sets of toothbrushes, towels, toothpaste, slippers... very nice!

The different places in taiwan were taoyuan(near to airport), hualien, taitung, kaoshiung, Alishan, taipei... we combed the whole of taiwan in 7days.. =)
We stayed in Taoyuan CITY SUITES, Hualien GOLD COAST, Taitung FENGTAI HOTSPRING, Kaoshiung HOLIDAY GARDEN, Taichung CHIN HUA HOTEL and Peitou CHINATRUST...

All were quite good.. but Peitou CHINATRUST was the best!!! It is like a small apartment. we had a kitchen, living room, dining table, 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, washing machine, oven, refrigerator... wah! shiok! very shiok! how i wished we could stay there for 2 dyas or more!!! =)
Taitung FENGTAI HOTSPRING was a hotel where we could go for SPA... very nice... we went there and had a good 30 mins in the hot pool... the highest temperature was 42.1 degrees.. super shiok! hahas.. at least i tried in my lifetime..

One of the days, we had to wake up at 5am to catch the train!! wah. and the day before, we slept at like close to 12 midnight.. good experience too.. although it was quite rushed, we had great fun!

One time, the lorry and a bus met up with an accident. We were just behind them and thus had to wait for half an hour for the thing to clear up... quite an experience too.. at least we know how the police worked to clear up the mess..

the bus ride from one place to another was very long and tiring.. the longest bus ride took about 3 hours ++, all of us rushed to the toilet after that.. hahas.. a lot of time was wasted on the bus ride..at least 1 full day is lost on the bus ride.. 24hours.. argh.. everyday we need to travel like at least 3 hours and everyone were complaining of the time wastage.. well.. taiwan is a big country... and the tour guide said that we could go from the north to south by plane.. a 35mins plane ride.. wah.. that shows how big taiwan is.. IF ONLY we had 10 days in taiwan.. hehe.

We took the taiwan high speed rail, the taiwan train, 'xiao huang'... the high speed rail was quite fast...nice.. good experience...

we went many places... C.K.S memorial Hall, Tamshui Old Street, Fisherman's whaf, Yehliu stone park, Nan tian temple, Taroko National Park, Lingzhi Speciality Store, Marble Factory, Ami Aboriginal Cultural Show, Terrace of the Three Immortals, Caves of the 8 Immortal, Fo Kuang Shan Monastery, Chen Ching Lake, Marina Wonderland, Pearl Cultural Centre, Dream Mall, Hello Kitty Ferris wheel, KaoShuing Love river's Cruise, Liuhe Night market, Alishan Forest Recreation park, Sister Lake, Shen Mu Shoujen Temple, Sun Moon Lake, Aboriginal Products SHop, Wen Wu Temple, Fengjia Night Market, National Place musuem, Art and Craft Centre, Martyr's Shrine, 'Five Cent Driftwood House, Taipei 101 World Building, Shilin Night market and Ximenting...
brought a lot of things.. really a lot.. we brought lingzhi, honey, pi xiu, tidbits... we really spent a lot more money than the other families.. wah!!! but it was fun!!! hahas.

There are stilll many places we can't go due to time constraint... but i think we combed almost all the nice places...

All in all, this was a rushed trip as we only had 7days to explore the whole of taiwan. BUT, deep down, we know it is a very fun trip with the tour guide talking politics, crap, jokes, singing songs for us... everyone was very co-operative too.. the timing was met.. there was little delay..

3days in HK.
We checked in Harbour Plaza Resort and stayed for 2 nights... a small hotel room and very far from town area.. bad place if u really want to go shopping.. we went mongkok after we put out things in the hotel.. we shopped from around 8.30 to 10.30pm.. then we met up with the other families.. we spent like close to 2 hours to search for the bus that will bring us back to our hotel.. and we could not find our way.. very funny.. we asked people the way.. we walked around.. our legs were aching.. and then we finally found the bus. but we waited for close to 1 hour for the bus as it was very packed... funny. We were lost but somehow, we walked and met up with the other families.. it is a miracle.. the other families were the same with the ones in taiwan.. very fated. hahas..
The second day.. we went to tuen mun by the light rail transport and spent around 8hours shopping there. we bought almost all our things there.. it was a good shopping centre.. 4 shopping centres linked together.. hahas..
The third day.. we went to yuen long by the light rail transport again.. very convenient.. this is something which singapore should follow.. we only brought some tops... yuen long is like chinatown in singapore..a lot of 'outside' shops...
then after yuen long we went back to our hotel and get ready to set off for the airport...
