Chinese exam today!
it was
much tougher than what i expected or imagined...
i did study, but didn't pick the right passage that came out...and sadly, i didn't studied the passage that came out. my first reaction when i saw 'ta ta man tan' was "what???"
shocking. i think i did not really answer the question...
the 2nd part of paper 2 was tough too...i didn't really know the meaning of the words there. nervous and anxious. scared.
i really hope to get what i wanted. i put in
effort.
hard work. i stayed back for chinese lessons when all my classmates had went home.
and i didn't waste my 90 mins during the lessons... i did listen to the teacher and i learnt many new things indeed. the teacher was very good. she encourage us, make jokes sometimes, use english to explain words that we do not understand, just to spur us on.
to be honest, i did not regret re-taking the exam.
great teacher,
great knowledge gained, coupled with
laughter. it was with
anticipation when i went for chinese lessons, sometimes. wanting to know more. learn more. and understand.
thinking back, it was with hesitation and fear when i was undecided whether to re-take the chinese exam. it was an obstacle, a hurdle that i went through, and to my delight, this decision didn't let me down.
it was the
first time i felt that chinese is wonderful.going on, though my progress report results was not really what i wanted, i did improve on econs, my worst enemy, aside from GP and chinese. i improved from a S last year to a D now. i also curb my fear on econs, and felt that learning more about the economy was nice, you could predict whether a country would be in recession, by looking at the GDP values... ...
i am not sure if i had said about this, someone told me my econs teacher said that i was improving, so i do not want to let her down. i must improve. for the sake of her. as well as mine.
GP was just as bad, although i passed. barely passed.
what my chinese teacher said was right. don't think about it. concentrate on H2 subjects. so i planned out what i wanted to do during the holidays. 4 weeks. math test, chem test and phy test at the start of school. there is a need to revise j1 topics too. i had forgotten most of them. this cannot go on.
less outings, less play, less viwawa, less... ...
but there must be a balance.
hopefully, i will carry out what i planned.

After 2 months of studying chinese, it is finally the big day tomorrow...
I really hope to get what i aim for or even better!!!

Had CO performance today during J1 civics lesson...
it's the arts appreciation week.
During J2 civics lesson, the dance groups performed... it was almost the same as Talentime. but still nice to watch.
So, we played 3 songs for them...
Jay Chou's Ju Hua Tai, Rhythm of the rain and a malay song, so our performance had a mix, which is just nice for arts appreciation!!!
Just hope that the audience really listened and watched... although i didn't really watch the dances during the J2 lesson. =s
It's the last Chinese lesson before our papers 1 and 2 too...

Had econs common test on thurs... it was of course tough for me... i do not have enough time to finish last part of case study... well, hopefully i can pass!!!
Sports day yesterday!!! It was fun and a different experience!!! the girls made boards for those who are competing after econs test on thurs... wah.. they were so thoughtful!!! but i didn't stay back because i want to watch the channel 8 show. hahas, this show is a must-watch!!! funny!!! :)
anyway, BIKILA won the sports day!!! woo!!! nice... and our class guys save the day! they save the fartlek race! nice to watch! exciting too!
Bikila is the top for girls, boys and overall champion!!! YEAH!

there was one thing that happened, one bikila guy fell down while running the fartlek, and elwin from bannister house went to help him... it was so good... sportsmanship! nice!
after sports day, we took a class photo...
and had class outing too!
we went BentoBox at JP for lunch! the boss there was nice! she treated all of us drinks! and a 10% discount! hahas... nice place to have your meals... :)
then we went to watch the movie ' made of honour '! it was quite a comedy and a nice plot! worth to watch!
after the movie, it was home sweet home...
i had to rush. went home to bathe and then went out again to vivo. went to meet up with PRB. it had been quite a long while since we ever met! so, it feels good to see them again!!! hahas.
i was late by 30mins. i board the bus at around 5.30 and i should be late by only 5 - 10 mins. Little did i know that there would be a traffic jam and the journey took 1 hour!!! shocked. haiz... i didn't mean to be late...
well, we ate at kimgary, a hongkong restaurant... some waiters and waitresses there spoke cantonese!!! yea! nice dialect. i want to learn! :) they were nice, polite... the food there was nice too... except that the names of the food were strange... i forgot what the names are already...

after eating, we went outside to chat. the breeze was wonderful! talk about yanling's scary experience... well, i hope she gets over with it fast and have good time management so that hopefull, she won't encounter such bad experience anymore...
we left quite early, at around 9pm.
and the bus ride home took only 35mins...
had CO today, as usual.. and it was the last saturday practice!!! YEAH! it had been a long while.. 1 year plus since i decided to join co... i think i somehow made the right decision... although there are some things which i don't really like about co... hmm. it's going to be over soon.
everything's going fine now, and i hope it stays like that. or be even better.

Finally cut my hair today!!! weather's getting very warm day by day... and my hair is quite long!!! so its good!!! hahas.
i think my hairstyle is quite different from my past hairstyle... hahas. new look. hopefully it will look nice when it become longer. :)

today, i heard from my senior that she got 5 As for A level... all H2 get A!!! wah. somemore last year there is SYF. haiz. must work harder!!! especially for my Chinese. second chance!

finally there are no more practicals!!! well, i will miss practicals, miss the lab, the apparatus, solutions...
5% of A level grade is already there...
hopefully i can get great marks. :)
well, on monday, our class got scolded by Mdm Khoo... she was very upset of the late-comings in our class, and that many people were coming school as and when they like... perhaps, they treat school as not important. we are 18 years old and still getting scolded like that outside the staffroom?
they don't care about what she thinks and feels. all they know was to have fun and play. even after 10 mins of the scolding. it has been like that since last year. bad habits die hard. this is really true.
today, the PE teacher scolded our class too... ponning pe lessons as and when we like. coming for pe lessons in uniform, coming late for lessons. not even bothering to explain why. seriously, why is my class like that? ponning lessons to study for tests like chem test, chem spa, phy spa...
well, enough about sad stuff...
today as usual, physics lesson is fun , or rather funny... hahas. Mr Oh pronounced the word 'assume' wrongly and he can't seem to change that habit. then he said' nothing's wrong what'... lol. everyone then followed him to pronounced the wrong way. hahas. he was also quite lame.
the Pasar malam downstairs finally ended on wednesday, after 6 nights... it was my first time seeing a pasar malam lasting for 6 nights in a neighbourhood... it was usually only 3 days... but it is also good, or else i will become fat! imagine having supper every night! aww... scary.
CO once again tomorrow... not sure why we have to practise that song when it is the choice piece for SYF next year... J2s will be graduating by then... aww. waste my time. haiz. hopefully after the performance on 22nd may, we will be able to step down. FINALLY!
Chinese Exam is getting near... around 3 more weeks. i have to get what i want! i must do it! or else i will waste my 2 months!!! MUST!!!
