went shopping for 3 days consecutively!!!
it was nice, looking around for prom stuff...
but tiring.
and i have spent a lot of $$$... bankrupt...
aww... painful. although it is 'shiok' to shop around and spend...
well, prom is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so i think it is a good experience...
hopefully the $ will be well spent.
anyway, dyed my hair yesterday morning!!! YEAH!
red and gold! haha.
at first, can't really get used to it...but the more i look at the hair, the more it looks nice.
but it is also expensive... argh.
hopefully i will be able to get a job soon and all this monetary problems will be solved.

prom is next monday... and i am quite excited about it. prepared and planned for many days. hope it will turn out well. :)

Went job hunting yesterday...
it was okay but tiring...
went Recruit Express, Adecco... filled in many forms.
what's more is that i have no work experience... i am sure half the battle is lost. :(
its tough looking for a job, especially u have no experience.
its hurtful when people tell u that no work experience is okay, when it is not...
well... i believe everyone had a first time and that everyone should be given equal chances.
hopefully i will be able to get a job soon...
On a happier note, i went for a scholarship interview and essay writing skills today...
it was scary at first, because u must interact with others, sharing with them ur profile... for example, have to act as someone else and introduce to others.
scary but fun. eh... quite.
writing an essay about urself - how something impacted u, it may be a small thing to others but a big thing to urself...
questions like ' how can a chair have no legs? ' , ' describe air to me ' , some other hypothetical questions... it is interesting having to listen to other people's answers. how they get to come up with such incredible, unbelievable answers. having to think on the spot is tough, but u will be surprised at the answers u come up with. u just have to crap as much as u had for that period of time.
we also had the interview practice session where we get to practice being interviewed by others. it may seem easy, but it is actually brain-draining. unexpected questions will be asked and one have to be prepared. 'What is ur strength?' 'What is ur weakness?' may seem to be easy questions, but if u have to talk for 1 minute about it, it will be tough. 1 minute seems short... hmm. try it and u will know.
'Tell me about yourself. ' is usually an interview question. this is also tough. it is an open-ended question and u do not know where to start from...
Attire wise office wear should be enough...
MOST IMPORTANTLY, the interview starts when u enter the room or building...
that's about all we did...
well, i must say i did learn a lot, having to interact with others, getting to know more about others and learning skills... so i didn't waste my 7 hours in school for nothing! :)
i am glad i have something to do too... haha.
i want to learn cantonese! :)
